Are You the Next Spotlight Artist?

When your band wins two separate "battles" in our "Battle of the bands promotion" you are placed "in line" to become the spotlight artist (see the example of Doña Oxford). It only cost $2.00 to enter Battle of the Bands. After that entry fee all battles are free (until you lose).

Example:

First Battle: Fee 2.00 (win)
Second Battle: Fee 0.00 (win) Placed in Line to be the Spotlight Artist
Third Battle: Free (lose) The next battle (with a new song) would cost 2.00 entry fee.

As a Spotlight Artist you Receive:

A spot on the front page of this web site including a brief description of your group/site
A mention of your group/site listed in the biweekly newsletter, An."Interview" based on a phone call between you and the Moderator Dave Jackson (it's free we pick up the charge). For people outside the US, we will "interview" via a chat room.

To become the spotlight artist, Get "in the ring" and start winning those battles.

Please note, due to the increased "On Deck" list, we may start Spotlighting two artists per issue.
