Endface has a ridiculously loyal fan base. I learned this
when their song "Torn"
kept winning and winning their battle of the band promotions.
With various members having shared the stage with national
acts such as Coal Chamber, Pro-Pain, Ill Nino, The Step Kings,
Dog Fashion Disco, Dokken, Voivod, Dope, Society 1 and Ringworm
makes ENDFACE a definite force to be reckoned with.
Formed in early 2001 in Buffalo, NY; Gordon Bolles (guitar),
Dragan Stojkovski (bass), Neil Thomas (drums), and Jacob R.H.
(vocals) knew they had found a perfect fit. The four piece
found themselves playing to a large following in just a few
short months. With songs such as "Portrait" (which
is also featured in an independent film) and "Deviate"
dealing with struggle, desperation and the feelings of worthlessness,
to "Undone" which is about hatred rooted from betrayal,
this
emotionally charged band is ready to go.
We caught them via e-mail, and asked them to answer some
questions.

Endface Interview
By David Jackson
12/2003
Dave: Does Endface have a Motto?
Endface:Be yourself and express yourself in the same way
Dave: You guy have been together for two and a half years. Any
great gigs stand out?
Endface: Probably opening for dokken. The crowd was really
receptive and into the music
Dave: Any worst gigs?
Endface: Well, we expected the Dokken gig to be bad because
of the difference in musical styles. ..
Dave: What are your influences?
Endface::primus, blindside, glassjaw, deftones, faith no
more, helmet, quicksand, far, alice in chains
.
Dave: What's in your CD Player?
Endface: Blindside, Converge, Glassjaw, Failure, the
new Korn, Static X

Dave:Any advice for bands?
Endface: Always play well no matter what because you never know
who may be watching or what type of impact you might make on people.
Dave: What is your favorite part of being
in a band?
Endface:writing and creating the music, expressing our emotions
and having people like it and get into the music and identify with
it.
Dave: What are the frustrating part of being in a band?
Endface: the business aspect
Dave: Any lessons learned along the way?
Endface: music can affect people stronger and in more ways than
you think and sadly enough sometimes the fact of things coming down
to who you know in the business and not how good a band is.
In times of uncertainty and chaos there becomes a need for some
kind of balance.
This balance is exactly what ENDFACE is all about; putting the
pieces together, discarding what doesn't fit and providing some
stability. This perfectly describes the outlook and writing style
of the band.
