the pop up windows, and ads make you look unprofessional. Realize that
you can host your own site for less than 100 a year. Some sites as low
as $49 a year. Here are some sites to check into. Some are great for small
groups, while others target power users.
Not having a web site for your group is like not having a business
card. My band gets 5-7 gigs a year due to our web site. There is no better
way to start the day than to fire up your e-mail and see a request to
play a festival. It sure beats having to call a club owner 17 times.
