I love everything about Music, Marketing, the Internet, Promotion, and Education. All of the projects I am involved with contain any of the above.

I've been making music for over 20 years, and enjoy networking with Muscians from all over the globe. I created The Musicians Cooler "Where Musicians Trade Advice" a newsletter with over 800 subscribers, and in September of 2004 started producing his newsletter in Audio format (this later would be dubbed a "Podcast"). Dave still published his newsletter and podcast.

When I first started investigating where to sell a CD I had recorded he started to network with musicians and trade his insights. Everyone said "Dave You should write a book, so he did. The result "Get your band out of the basement (and keep them out of the asylum)" has been enjoyed by all who have pruchased it. My stories (both good and bad) of starting bands, marketing bands, help all who read the book achieve success in a more efficient manner.

Disgusted by the amount of money people were charging to build a website, I started "Cooler Wesbites" (originally he had a tag line of "Web Design with the Musician in Mind). I new that in today's world an Artist needs a web site to build their fan base. I took my 15 years of computer experience and started building quick loading, professional, websites for myclients. I've never advertised, and gets most of his clients through word of mouth. It's easy I listen to what they want, and give them what they need. Too many people are buying more technology that they will never ever use. They also get roped into long term contracts with people who are getting paid to do nothing. That's just not right, so I jumped in to help educate, and work with those new to the internet, and getting a website. I even wrote a free book "Look before leaping into cyberspace." For anyone thinking about building a website.

As a music promoter (I'm the Moderator at www.battlingbands.com ) I'm always looking for good music on the Internet, I have seen my share of horrible websites. So I immediately started www.firsttimevisitor.com a website evaluation service tohelp those who have designed a website on their own, and along the way have lost their objectivity. I again found a faster, and more efificient way to deliver my evalaution, and in some cases saved my clients 100s of dollars. I also composed a special report of the 30 most common mistakes people make on their website, and a listing of great resources.
Along the way I've created www.stageclothes.net, I've networked deals with www.sonicbids.com and k-amp, and I continue to watch the internet (my day job is tech support), for new opportunities to promote music, and websites on the internet. My future plans are to start "The School of Podcasting" (4th quarter 2005). In July of 2005 I launched podcastingshirts.com.
